Alzheimer's Project Funding
Right now, Florida Legislators are proposing budget cuts that will eliminate funding provided to
Alzheimer's Community Care for direct services to patients and their caregivers.
UPDATE: Funding for Alzheimer's Projects has been put back in the Florida Senate's budget and is up for approval. See the amendment here. Continue to urge and thank Jeff Atwater for not turning his back on patients and caregivers living with Alzheimer's disease.
Read CEO and President Mary M. Barnes' statement here.
This will affect virtually everyone who attends the Specialized Adult Day Service Centers in Palm Beach, Martin and St. Lucie Counties.
