Alzheimer's Community Care
2011 Annual Report

Dear Friends,

In the following pages you will see how we as a Board of Directors and an organization continue to earn your financial support and commitment to our work and vision. We persist as custodians of your trust as evidenced by the figures in this report which will show you that for every $1.00 you donated to our mission 88 cents went directly to services and resources.

We could not achieve this year after year without the support of all our dynamic volunteers who work at our 12 sites throughout our service area (Palm Beach, Martin and St. Lucie counties). Over 180 volunteers provided over 11,900 hours of support, saving this organization $255,544.77 in labor cost. In reality their energy and support is priceless.

During these turbulent economic times it is imperative that we remain vital and stable as an organization. It is our steadfastness that has enabled us, along with a committee of 16 other agencies, to play a major role in the Florida Silver Alert Program becoming a law. We were so privileged to provide our resources to help make this vital program a reality. It is truly a blessing to have been a big part of establishing such a worthwhile and life saving service for all Floridians, specifically our local families. We as an organization are most proud of this and we thank you all who gave us the stamina to do this with your belief in and support of our vision.

When you review our fiscal accomplishments as well as all of our efforts outlined in this report, we hope you realize how much we value you. We will continue to earn your trust and commitment to our work because we will continue in our promise that our Alzheimer’s families will never be isolated from care or support—not ever.

 We remain,

Clark Bennett
Chair, Board of  Directors
