In what CEO Mary Barnes describes as a “dynamic trio”, Sandy Krakoff, Nancy Raquet and Jan Willinger are at the helm of this exciting event, which takes place March 16 at The Breakers, Palm Beach.

Organized by the Pilot Club of Fort Pierce in partnership with Alzheimer’s Community Care and the St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office, the “Birdies for Bracelets” Golf Tournament raised nearly $5,000 to benefit the St. Lucie County Locator ID Bracelet Program. As a result of this successful fundraiser, additional Locator ID Bracelets and batteries will be supplied free of charge to St. Lucie County families for their loved ones who are living with Alzheimer’s disease.

The Pilot Club of Fort Pierce, a local chapter of Pilot International, is joining forces with Alzheimer’s Community Care and the St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office to further the St. Lucie County ID Locator Bracelet Program, a personal safety system that uses a tracking device to locate at-risk individuals with Alzheimer’s disease and related disorders. An estimated 9,100 people in St. Lucie County have been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease and this fundraiser is committed to ensuring the safety of St. Lucie County citizens; all proceeds raised will be used in support of Alzheimer’s Community Care and the St. Lucie County ID Locator Program.
