Gentlemen:
When arriving in Florida with my mother in November 2003 after my father had passed away, and as my mother had dementia, someone was kind enough to tell me about your day care services.
I, of course, took advantage of day care which as you know is a life-saver for the caregiver. It was wonderful for her giving her proper stimulation and for me a much needed break. Your staff on Aster Lane lead by Noel was wonderful.
... I received much helpful feedback from Family Nurse Consultant, Chandra McKendree (invaluable), and Noel and staff.
... thanks for all the help and support when I needed it most.

To whom it may concern,
I would like to express my most sincere gratitude for the staff and services provided by the Alzheimer's Community Care Center.
My wife has been attending the center since September of 2007. She has adjusted well and has received care, which reflects compassion and understanding. The staff greet her daily with big smiles and a great deal of warmth. This extremely comforting to me as it was difficult for me to take the step to put her in an adult day care situation.
The Alzheimer's Community Care Center has given me the opportunity to continue to enjoy my daily activities without having to care for my wife 24 hours a day, seven days a week. I find that since she has begun at the center, our time together is much more enjoyable. I know that caring for her daily was a significant emotional strain for me before she became a participant in the Alzheimer's Community Care Center.

Dear Mary,
My wife has attended the Boynton Beach Community Center for more than 4 years, and I have much praise for your people and the services that (my wife) gets.
I feel that I must bring this to your attention: (Patient), my wife, for the past 2 weeks, has been limping and favoring her right foot. I took her to the doctor, and she examined (my wife) and took x-rays; she said everything was negative. Meanwhile, (my wife's) whole demeanor had changed; she fell asleep while eating breakfast with the toast still in her hand, and she was not herself.
(Program Manager) noticed this and looked at (my wife's) leg and noticed that her right knee was swollen. (Program Manager) told me that it looked like she may have fluid on her knee and suggested that I take her to an orthopedist. I did, and, sure enough, there was fluid on her knee, and the doctor treated it. Now, (my wife) seems to be herself again.
If (Program Manager) hadn't taken the time to check (my wife), who knows how much worse it may have gotten. I have the utmost respect and praise for (Program Manager). Thanks to your organization, I can rest easily. Thank you so much.
Respectfully yours,
Caregiver
