This program is required for Certified Nursing Assistants in every 2-year license period, and elective for other disciplines.

Course content focuses on therapeutic communication with the cognitively impaired adult, changes in behavior that may indicate illness, infection, or medication issues, and actions to take, and defines and describes the impact of multiple medication regimens.
