Palm Beach County is currently using the Mid-County Senior Center as a distribution site for COVID-19 related relief supplies. Therefore, we have taken advantage of the opportunity for the West Lake Worth Day Center to join the Lake Worth Day Center at 1615 Lake Ave, Lake Worth, FL 33460. Once the distribution center is no longer needed, the West Lake Worth Day Center will resume care at the Mid-County Senior Center.

• Family Nurse Consultants: The Family Nurse Consultants are the navigators for our families, for acquiring resources and services provided by the Organization and by outside sources. Notwithstanding current closings and restrictions, we continue to address the needs of caregivers. Support group meetings have continued as scheduled via teleconference. All callers can speak with a Family Nurse Consultant at the office locations and telephone numbers listed on the Family Nurse Consultant page.
• Specialized Alzheimer’s Day Services (SDS) Centers: All Centers are operating and open to referrals. Staff are responding accordingly with all appropriate pandemic precautions. Health screening is in place in our Day Centers (daily checking for fever, cough, shortness of breath, etc.). Daily disinfection practices are robust. Our Day Centers are accredited by the Joint Commission and monitored by such institutions as the Agency for Health Care Administration, the Veterans Administration, the Area Agency on Aging, etc. We are abiding by the current recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
