21st Annual Birdies for Bracelets Charity Golf Tournament Raises Funds for Alzheimer’s Community Care ID Locator Bracelet Program

The Pilot Club of Fort Pierce, an international civic and service organization, hosted its 21st annual Birdies for Bracelets Charity Golf Tournament on Sept. 20th at Gator Trace Golf & Country Club. This year’s event had 84 golfers participating.

Proceeds from the event support Alzheimer Community Care’s ID Locator Bracelet service, a program that provides life-saving ID locator tracking bracelets to Alzheimer’s patients who are at risk of wandering and the assurance of a safe return home with the help of the Sheriff’s Office. Over $120,000.00 has been raised for the program since the event’s inception.
