Advance planning for healthcare decisions is vital for those with specific ideas about how they want to be cared for should they be in a situation for which medical decisions must be made, but they cannot speak for themselves. The various mechanisms for identifying preferences can be confusing, particularly as specific requirements can vary from state to state. This course is designed to describe the standards established by the State of Florida for specialized Alzheimer’s adult day care.
