Dr. Karen Gilbert, DNP, MS, RN, CDP, Vice President of Education & Quality Assurance at Alzheimer’s Community Care, has contributed an insightful article to the May 2025 edition of Abacoa & Alton Neighbors magazine. With more than 35 years of experience in healthcare administration in Palm Beach County, Dr. Gilbert has dedicated the past nine years to working with patients experiencing various stages of Alzheimer’s disease and related neurocognitive disorders. Her approach promotes individualized care planning, caregiver support, and improving the quality of life for those affected by these conditions. Dr. Gilbert also holds certifications in Alzheimer’s disease training and is a Certified Dementia Practitioner.
