Former Chairman, Board of Directors: Alzheimer’s Community Care

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Clark D. Bennett. Clark was more than a dedicated board member; he was a steadfast leader, a community advocate, and a true supporter of our mission. Clark served as a board member from 2006 to 2022 and was chairman from 2011 to 2014. While serving on our board, his insight and guidance helped advance critical programs that continue to serve families affected by Alzheimer’s disease and related disorders.

Throughout his distinguished career in municipal finance and public service, Clark brought invaluable expertise, vision, and integrity to every role he held. He served on numerous other boards, including the Florida Housing Finance Corporation and the Palm Beach County Housing Finance Authority, which reflected his lifelong commitment to strengthening communities and improving lives. 

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Clark was deeply devoted to his family. Married to his beloved wife Patricia for more than 60 years, together they raised two children and built a legacy rooted in love and service. He also found joy in running, distance cycling, automobile restoration, and fine music.

We extend our deepest condolences to Clark’s family, friends, and loved ones. His wisdom, generosity, and dedication will forever remain a treasured part of the ACC family.
