Alzheimer's Community Care Receives Grant from Admiral's Cove Foundation

Alzheimer’s Community Care (ACC), Florida’s largest and premier provider of dementia-specific services, was recently awarded a grant from Admiral’s Cove Foundation. 

ACC will use the grant funds to ensure its Family Navigators program remains available at no cost to those in need.  

The Family Navigator program serves as a lifeline for families in Palm Beach, Martin and St. Lucie counties who are living with Alzheimer’s disease and related neurocognitive disorders. Family Navigators provide caregivers with the support, tools, and resources needed to continue providing home-based care for their loved ones. 

The Family Navigator’s primary role is to provide potential interventions, available resources, possible measures, and outcomes at key stages in the disease’s progression. Interventions and needs assessments implemented throughout all stages of dementia are critical. 

The Admirals Cove Foundation exists to improve lives in northern Palm Beach County, and the grant supports projects and programs of nonprofit organizations committed to improving the mental and physical wellness of community members.
