This is an elective course approved for all listed Boards.

It may be impossible to live a plastic-free life, however, an understanding of potential impacts of microplastics on brain and body and modifiable exposures may mitigate healthcare concerns. This course shows that higher concentrations of these particles that have been found in the brain resulting in inflammatory processes and inflammatory processes are known to contribute to development of Alzheimer’s.
